On Friday, May 27, 2016, the Avoid the Marin 13, Marin County’s multi agency DUI task force conducted a drunk driving checkpoint in Novato. The checkpoint ran from 6:00 p.m. to midnight and resulted in two drunk driving arrests. One other driver was arrested for possession narcotics and twenty two other drivers were issued citations for diving on a suspended license and/or various other traffic ticket moving violations.
