The City of San Rafael Police Department will be conducing a DUI checkpoint this Friday, July 19, 2013. The location of the checkpoint has not be disclosed to the public. The police have indicated that they will be screening drivers for alcohol and drug impairment as well as for possession of valid driver’s licenses. The San Rafael Police are hopeful that this checkpoint will be only minimally intrusive and only momentarily delay the divers that they screen.
